Put the stash in the stairs!

Storage, you can never have enough and when you think you do, guess what, you're wrong. We are facing storage problems over at the Pork Fried house as I write this. If only we had the storage stairs!

PPA Crew

No not the Philadelphia Parking Authority, screw them. I'm talking Shaka and Nosbe from Paris. These pieces just put me in a good mood, so much color, expression and contrast. Get more here

Had to throw this one in here too. Hozoi, also from Paris. Check out his blog here.

Notes From Underground

All this talk about the underground tunnels and concourses in the Citypaper today made me think of these vids that I saw a little while back. Be sure to check out the article (linked above..duh), experienced and written by Matt Stroud. I got mad respect for this guy.

Matt W. Moore. Remember that name. Peep the website. He does web design for Burton Snowboards and plenty of freelance work ranging from Nike SB, Mazda, Ecko, Scion, Tank Theory, Evolve2Advance, ROJO Magazine, Poketo and a handful of streetwear brands, big and small. And on top of that he finds time to still do art for himself ranging from canvas, skateboards, street, graf, typography and anything else he can get into.

Remember when he was just a Philly boy from Cherry Hill..

Yeah, pretty boy Scott Storch has a warrant out for his arrest and owes a shitload of money in property taxes and child support. Shit is just funny to me. Read more HERE or THERE. And of course there is more HERE and HERE. And let's not forget about the super yacht sale a few months back either. Sometimes you forget what a lot of money is when you charge $100,000 a track, or in Scott Storch's case, what a lot of money was.

Wii Spray Can

Tennis, Bowling, Boxing. Yoga. Now, tagging. Is there nothing that the people at Nintendo don't want to incorporate into their newest system?

Well, while not quite ready to fully integrate graffiti into the Wiimote, Nintendo's platform has inspired students and designers to explore the possibilities. WiiSpray is a prototype from Martin Lihs, who prepared it as part of his final at Bauhaus University.

95 degrees, a few thousand people, and a picnic with The Roots

Just got home from The Roots Picnic and all I can say is wow. To all my fellow sailors who jumped ship at the last minute...because it was too hot? Come on now, you guys don't even know what you missed. Aside from the uncounted technical difficulties, microphone failures, and relentless heat (which made the show one that I will never forget), the show was first class. The highlights for me being, The Roots one hour and twenty minute set, Diplo w/ Blaqstarr and Rye Rye in the tent, Gnarles Barkley, and Quest playing the tambourine for an encore with Gnarles. And to all my fellow fans who stuck it out until the end and got to see the Gnarles and Quest collabo....we shared a special moment that only about a tenth of the people who attended the picnic witnessed. O yeah, and The Roots covered this tonight and crushed it.
